API Use Policy

OutreachLark provides open APIs that you can access at (the “APIs”). The APIs make it possible for developers to better use the Service and build integrations that help other people use the Service in new ways (each an “Integration”. This API Use Policy (the “Policy”) is intended to ensure that people can build on and benefit from OutreachLark while protecting our system as well as our users’ rights. Your use of the APIs must comply with this Policy, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Login

You will only access the APIs using OAuth or an API key. If you have an Integration, then users must have the option to log in via OAuth. You won’t prompt users to provide their OutreachLark username or password.

2. Privacy

You will respect the privacy of our users. Your Integration must clearly display the information you will collect from them when they use the Integration.

3. Ownership

We own all worldwide rights, titles and interest in the Services and the APIs, including all intellectual property rights, marks, code, and features. You won’t infringe or copy our code, design, or content. Any rights not expressly granted by this policy are withheld, so if you don’t see it here, than it’s not a right we’re giving you. You own all worldwide rights, titles, and interest in the Integration, except for the APIs, our marks, and the Service (including all intellectual property rights). If you give us comments about the APIs or the Services, we may copy, modify, create derivative works, display, disclose, distribute, and use that feedback without any obligation to compensate you.

4. Use of Marks

You won’t use our name, logos, mascots or images in your Integration name or logo in a way that implies an endorsement by us.

5. Liability

You expressly understand and agree that OutreachLark shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if OutreachLark has been advised of the possibility of such damages) resulting from your use of the API or third-party product that access data via the API

6. Abuse

Abuse or excessively frequent requests to OutreachLark via the API may result in the temporary or permanent suspension of your account’s access to the API. OutreachLark, in its sole discretion, will determine abuse or excessive usage of the API. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, your access to the API with or without notice.

7. Updates

OutreachLark may update or modify the APIs and this Policy from time to time by posting the changes on this site or notifying you by email. These changes may affect your use of the APIs or the way your Integration interacts with the API. If we make a change that’s unacceptable to you, you should stop using the APIs. Continued use of the APIs means you accept the change.
